Always select the diameter of the pipes in such a way that you do not have to overpay extra money for energy resources.

The flow rate of the pump itself is determined by the following ratio: N/t2-t1. In this formula, t1 refers to the temperature of the water in the return pipes (usually it is 65–70 °C), and t2 is the temperature provided by the heating unit (at least 90 °C). And the letter N denotes the boiler power (this value is in the equipment passport). The pump pressure is set according to the standards accepted in our country and Europe. It is believed that 1 kW of power of a circulation unit is quite enough for high-quality heating of 1 square meter of a private home.

To make a shredder with your own hands, you need

The shredder design is:

There are many reasons why even the best quality batteries are discharged very often:

  • high level of humidity. If a gas heater is installed in a bathroom, then increased water evaporation can negatively affect its operation. Moisture settles on the contacts and promotes their oxidation, which leads to a decrease in charge,
  • ionization sensor offset. Over time, the combustion sensor may become dislodged, causing it to take longer to produce a spark. In this case, much more energy is consumed, and charge loss occurs many times faster than it should,
  • Piece displacement. The situation is similar to that described above. The pieze moves away from the burner and takes a longer time to ignite. In this case, in addition to the rapid discharge of electrical elements, there is also the possibility of an explosion as a result of gas accumulation inside the heater body,
  • problems with the control unit board. In addition to the piezo, the speaker contains an electronic control module, which is also powered by batteries. If any problems occur on the unit’s board (burnt-out resistor, short circuit, dirty tracks, etc.), the charge is consumed faster than usual.

By eliminating the above problems, you will significantly extend the life of your batteries.

How to choose batteries

When choosing replacement batteries, you must follow the manufacturer's recommendations. In addition, it is advisable not to save money by purchasing cheap batteries. It is better to trust trusted manufacturers. In this case, the next replacement will not be required very soon. You can also buy batteries that are rechargeable. They cost more than regular batteries, but will last much longer.

Types of foam shredders

You can choose the type of crusher for foam plastic based on the amount of material. If the main task is to obtain 1-2 small bags of crumbs, you may not need to assemble a special unit at all to complete it. It is enough to use a metal brush, which is used to rub sheets of foam insulation, or a homemade “grater” from a box with cells. This method will be ineffective, but will avoid costs.

It is better to immediately purchase high-quality material for roof vapor barrier than to redo all the work later.

The technique is somewhat different from roof installation.

If the amount of material is large enough and you need not 1 bag, but 10, 20 or more, you should decide how to make a crusher:

  • bases for mounting the motor and shaft. The engine can be taken, for example, from a concrete mixer, additionally installing a gearbox to reduce the speed (too fast rotation will lead to too small particles).

The foam is fed onto a rotating mesh, the size of the holes of which determines the diameter of the resulting granules. Feeding is carried out manually and requires preparation of the material - cutting it to the width of the disk. The advantage of this option is its low cost. The disadvantage is the difficulty of grinding all the pieces and a large amount of dust in the air. The first problem is solved by manual grinding (boxes and brushes), the second by using eye and respiratory protection.

Classic crusher

To increase the volume of production of foam granules, it is worth using the design of an industrial foam crusher, which you can purchase - but it is more profitable to make it yourself.

In the production of foam chips, the material enters the shredder body towards two knives mounted on the drum and on the shaft. Getting between the cutting edges, the foam is crushed and produces granules of the desired size.

When manufactured independently, the shredder is assembled from a welded metal box, inside of which two shafts with long teeth rotate. They can be made, for example, by screwing ordinary screws into a wooden roller or by installing and securing rods in drilled holes.

You can earn good money in the production of foam chips with minimal investment.

The same low-power and low-speed engine is selected as the rotating device as for the crusher-grater. The result is particles with a diameter of several millimeters, which, if necessary, are refined manually. Why do batteries fail quickly?

There are several reasons why batteries do not last long.

High humidity

High humidity in the bathroom leads to oxidation of the contacts in the housing where the batteries are installed.
