Steel panel radiators PRADO Universal have six connections with G1/2″ thread, 4 side and 2 bottom, and depending on the type, consist of one, two or three profile panels with or without a convection sheet. All radiators, except type 10, are equipped with removable top and side panels. Radiators of types 20/ 21/ 22/ 30/ 33 do not have mounting brackets, which allows them to be installed in such a way that the bottom connection can be on the right or left. For 30 , 33 types, it is necessary to take into account that the connection axes are not located symmetrically with respect to the depth of the radiator. Radiators of types 10/ 11/ 30/ 33 are supplied in right or left versions. The device is connected to the heating system through two lower connecting pipes. Purpose - for heating systems of residential, public and industrial buildings. The maximum operating excess pressure of the coolant is 1.0 MPa (10 bar). The maximum coolant temperature is 120 C. 10-year warranty.

Design features of different types of radiators
The company's catalog presents Classic and Universal models. Products are available with side and bottom eyeliner. The manufacturer offers a wide range of standard sizes, allowing you to design the optimal heating system. Structurally, the devices consist of one, two or three panels, plus fins. The company's catalog presents several types of radiators. They differ in depth, number of panels, and the presence of fins.
Types of Prado batteries:
- Type 10 is the narrowest model (72 mm), consisting of one row of panels. Its advantage is its affordable cost. The disadvantages include low heating power.
- Type 11 - fins are welded to the back of the single-row panel. The product is equipped with an air outlet grille and side slats.
- Type 20 is a radiator with two panels, but without convection fins. There is a grill on top. Depth 82 mm.
- Type 21 - the model consists of two panels and fins between them. The heater received all the necessary finishing - grille and side inserts.
- Type 22 - stamped parts are arranged in two rows, a ribbed convector is welded to each. The depth of the product is 108 mm, there is a grill on top, and strips on the sides.
- Type 30 is a three-row radiator without fins. The model with the letter “Z” is offered without grille and sidewalls. Version with the letter "V" with vertical connection.
- Type 33 – three rows of ribbed panels form a depth of 172 mm. The radiator is fully equipped with finishing elements.
Prado Classic
Prado Classic radiators are used in two-pipe and one-pipe communication networks. They can be installed in gravity systems and operating with pumping stations. There are holes on four sides of the product for lateral pipe connections. Classic radiators are available in all types. Their peculiarity is the absence of right and left execution. The heater can only be connected on one side; a plug is placed on the other.
Heating devices of the Z-hygienic series are intended for institutions with increased requirements for cleanliness. They are devoid of fins, side walls and grilles. When marking products, their type and dimensions are indicated. For example: model Prado Classic 22-500-500 – radiator with side connection type 22, length 500 mm, width 500 mm.
Prado Universal
The advantage of Universal batteries is the universal connection. The design allows for bottom connection, hiding the heating pipes. A switching option is possible through 4 connecting holes in the corners of the device. Products are produced in various types, from single-row to three-row. There is also a Z series of hygienic heating devices. The devices are equipped with connecting pipes on the right and left sides, which simplifies installation. Steel Prado Universal radiators are equipped with Danfoss thermostats that control their power. The valves are designed for a two-pipe system. When installing batteries in a single-pipe network, choose models with reduced thermostat resistance.

Operating rules for Prado steel radiators
If water is used as a working medium, it must meet certain parameters:
- oxygen content not more than 0.02 mg/kg, iron up to 0.5 mg/l, other impurities maximum 7 mg/l;
- total hardness cannot exceed 7 mEq/l.
Prado steel radiators, like most appliances (with the exception of cast iron), are negatively affected by downtime without a working environment. In addition to the lack of coolant, frequent short-term drains, for example, to repair the system, have a negative impact. According to experts, the duration of units without water should not exceed 15 days during the year.
Steel appliances can be combined with different types of pipe products; only with brass pipes can they be connected using adapters and fittings made of bronze or brass.

L-length of radiator
A,B,C - Bracket distance
*-Below the decimal line are options for installing brackets with a small shelf to the wall.
Nuances of installation work
The side pipes for connecting pipelines are located on both sides of the unit and have a ½” thread. Different connection types can be used.
But if the length of the device is more than 1400 millimeters, the lower saddle and side one-way connections will be ineffective. If the radiator is long enough, it is recommended to make a diagonal connection, which assumes that the supply is made from above on one side of the device, and the outlet from the opposite bottom.
In the case of using a bottom connection, it is also called a bottom connection, it must be taken into account that the supply is the second entrance from the side edge, and the “return” is located at the edge. It is forbidden to swap them, since a tube is welded to the supply inlet at the factory, transporting the heated liquid to the upper manifold, after which it is distributed over all vertically located channels.
To mount Prado steel radiators, the manufacturer advises using the brackets included with the units. These fasteners were specially designed for them.
The brackets must be inserted into the grooves located on the back wall of the steel panel. Depending on the length of the device, there are 2 or 3 of them. It is possible to install the structure on legs, and not just fix it on the wall. However, branded supports must be ordered individually.
Installation is performed in a certain sequence:
- On a flat, pre-prepared wall surface, mark the places where it is planned to install fasteners.
- The brackets need to be unpacked.
- The fastening points are reinforced with dowels or a special solution.
- An automatic air vent or a Mayevsky valve, a thermostat and plugs must be installed on the heating device, and if necessary, adapters are used.
- On the radiator, in the places where it is mounted on the brackets, open the packaging and place the device on the fastening elements.
- Connect the pipes supplying the coolant and discharging it.
- All plastic film packaging is removed after completion of finishing work in the room.
To prevent air locks from appearing after installing Prado radiators with a bottom connection while filling the heating system, this should be done through the “return” by opening the thermostats.
